“Christ Church Frederica Cookbook.” Compiled by the members of Christ Church Frederica in 1992, the cookbook is a first edition, first printing, so stated. It is a plastic-comb spiral-bound soft cover measuring 6 x 9 inches with 300 pages. The cookbook is in excellent gently used condition; flipping through, the pages appear clean and unmarked.

From coastal Georgia, this cookbook shares a taste of St. Simons with the rest of the country. First built in 1820 and then rebuilt after its destruction in the Civil War, Christ Church was served by John and Charles Wesley, Church of England priests who went on to found Methodism. Today the church greets 90,000 visitors per year. As a remembrance of a visit, a token of friendship, or simply an addition to a growing cookbook collection, Christ Church, Frederica Cookbook encompasses the same quality, beauty and history visible in its namesake. It is filled with favorite family recipes handed down from generation to generation over the years, contributors are named.
