Vintage movie musical sheet music, this is “I Can’t Begin To Tell You” from the 1945 movie “The Dolly Sisters.” The sheet music was published by BVC – Bregman, Vocco and Conn, Inc., Broadway, New York. It measures 9 x 12 inches with three pages. It is in really nice condition, without wear for the most part, but it does have a previous owner’s name written under the title of the movie.
“I Can’t Begin To Tell You” from the musical, “The Dolly Sisters” lyrics by Mack Gordon and music by James Monaco. “The Dolly Sisters” starred Betty Grable, John Payne and June Haver. The song was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1946 but lost out to “On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe.” The sheet music is illustrated with Grable and Haver striking a flashy pose. Classic vintage music ephemera and collectible, from the heyday of musicals.
