“America’s Bake Off Cook Book ~ Pillsbury” subtitled “100 Prize Winning Recipes from Bake Off 27.” Published by The Pillsbury Company in 1976, the cookbook is a soft cover measuring 5½ x 9 inches with 96 pages. The cook booklet is in good gently used condition, there is a brown stain at the top of the front cover that goes through to about half of the pages.
Synopsis
The 27th Pillsbury Bake Off was held in Boston to celebrate the Bicentennial of America, hence the change in name for the contest to “America’s” Bake Off. Continued was the awarding of two Grand Prize winners. The year’s grand prize accolades were awarded to Lois A. Groves’ Crescent Caramel Swirl as well as Lenora H. Smith’s Whole Wheat Raisin Loaf. A fantastic addition for cookbook collector or foodie!! Such a great piece of history and full of delicious recipes, twenty-seventh in a series that continues today!
