“Pennsylvania Polka” with words and music by Lester Lee and Zeke Manners. Published in 1938, It became an almost immediate hit for The Andrews Sisters. The song is most associated with Pittsburgh, where it was popular among that region’s Polish immigrant community and served as an anthem for the 1970s Super Bowl-winning Pittsburgh Steelers football teams. It was also featured repeatedly in the hit 1993 film Groundhog Day. The Andrew Sisters are featured on the cover.
