Published by Waterson, Berlin and Snyder Company, Strand Theatre Building, New York; it measures 9 x 12 inches with three pages. It is in poor used condition, the pages have separated and there are small tears along the top edge.

“Pick Me Up And Lay Me Down In Dear Old Dixieland” with words and music by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby. Published in 1922, the first verse: “Pick me up just like my mammy; lead me by the hand, And lay me down in dear old Dixieland.” The cover are is by Albert Wilfred Barbelle (1887–1957), an American artist known well for his work in advertising, particularly cover art for sheet music of Tin Pan Alley. Barbelle’s career as a cover artist spanned for forty-four years. He also illustrated the first Mickey Mouse book.
