Originally published by the Oxford University Press in 1934, this is a first edition, sixteenth printing from 1948, so stated. It is signed by the author on the title page. The book is a hardcover but is missing its dust jacket, it measures 7¼ x 7¼ inches. The book is in good condition, the pages are clean and unmarked. The corners and edges of the dust jacket and spine have wear / chipping.
