“The Springfield Woman’s Club Presents A Tasting Tour Through Washington County Kentucky” cookbook compiled by the members of the club. Originally published in June, 1987, this is a third printing from April of 1988, so stated. The cookbook is a plastic-comb spiral bound soft cover measuring 6 x 9 inches with 283 pages. It is in fair to good gently used condition with a lot of wear / soiling to the covers particularly around the edges; flipping through quickly the pages looked clean and unmarked but some pages have been folded as markers for favorite recipes.

The Springfield Woman’s Club cookbook is more than a cookbook. It is the essence of the spirit of Washington County and Kentucky, through photographs as well as a taste of the area’s southern cooking through recipes. Contributors are name.
