A vintage pair of men’s pants from the United States Post Office. These are old, retired, not a current uniform. They date probably from the 1970’s, possibly the early 1980’s, as they belonged to my dad who retired from the Post Office in 1986. He was one of those guys who wore the same exact thing every day until it was ragged and filled with holes, while brand new identical clothing sat in his closet. So the pants are new, never worn. The pants are a blend of mohair, warm for winter (he worked in New York) and are a size 38 regular, 33 inch inseam. The tags are marked: 68% Dacron Polyester 24% Orlon 8% Mohair … 38 regular. I took pictures using different lighting effects to give you a good idea of what they look like.
